I'm a web-developer turned marketer. My clients pay me to do two things; build websites and send them customers. I give my clients advice and tactical advice on how to increase sales conversions, write compelling sales copy and how to run things like newsletters. That said, the clients I get usually want one thing: more customers.

The main concern new clients have is that they turn a profit or break-even when I go into bat for them. If you're wondering the same thing it's not unexpected. I can deliver you the traffic, the only way (I've seen so far) that my clients could lose money through me is if they have a poor backend that can't make use of the customers I sent them on a break-even or profit-turning basis. Which usually means they're got bigger problems than marketing!

I also get the occasional customers who says "I don't have the time or money to pay you" (typically because they don't have the revenues/business they need), to which I almost always reply "That's exactly why you need me." I'm in the business of building compelling, profit driven websites powered by effective online marketing through Google (among other sources).
